BOOKS For Babies A fun and exciting five week program for parents and caregivers who have children aged 0-2 years. Parents will learn the importance of reading to their young babies, including what kind of books are best and how to read to their children in new and interesting ways.

When: Mondays 10:00am - 11:00am, November 9th - December 14th

Where: 5th Ave. Memorial United Church. 476 4th St. SE

BOOKS for Babies is also available in the afternoons Mondays 1:00pm - 2:00pm, September 21st - November 2nd (No classes Oct 12th)

Digital Literacy Class A FREE eight session class covering a variety of programs, including Microsoft, Powerschool and Edsby, Google and Email Support. The program will also look at Social Media platforms, online safety and scams, and QR codes and AI.

When: Tuesdays 6:00pm - 7:30pm, October 6th - December 8th

Where: Medicine Hat College

Conversation Circle An 8 week program for newcomers to Canada, with a focus on practising speaking English and learning new vocabulary in everyday conversation while having fun. Community guest speakers may also be a part of this program!

Weekly topics may include: Holidays, food, sports and recreation, transportation, and everyday skills.

When: Mondays 6:00pm - 7:30pm, October 19th - December 7th

Where: Redcliff Rectangle

Growing Child, Growing Parent! A FREE 10 week program for parents and their children. (Parents can attend with or without children.) Join us to strengthen your parenting skills and enjoy quality learning time with your children. FREE lunch provided for participants! Transportation assistance is available.

When: Thursdays 10:00am - 1:00pm, October 1st - December 3rd

Where: 5th Ave. Memorial United Church. 476 4th St. SE

Literacy Building Blocks A FREE virtual program for families with children in Medicine Hat Public School District ELPs. Materials will be dropped off at your home throughout the program, and videos of activities posted in a closed Facebook group, for you to follow along with. Limited spaces available!

When: Wednesdays, Octover 21st - December 2nd (no delivery November 11th)

Learning English Together An 8 week program for newcomers to Canada, refugees, and permanent residents with a focus on practising speaking English and learning new vocabulary in everyday conversation while having fun. Community guest speakers may also be a part of this program!
