LEARN supports family literacy through a variety of programs. See basic information below, and have a look at our newsletter for times and dates.

All programs have free transportation if needed for families.

Growing Child, Growing Parent

A FREE program for parents, with or without their children. Strengthen your parenting skills and spend quality learning time with your child

Conversation Circle

A program for newcomers to Canada, to practice speaking English, and learn new vocabulary and grammar.

A program for parents with children under 18 months, to learn about the importance of reading to babies. Receive a free book to keep at the end of the program!

Literacy Building Blocks

A FREE virtual program for families with children. Explore early literacy in your home! Materials will be dropped off at your home throughout the program, and a video of the activity posted on a closed Facebook group for you to view at your convenience.
